We’re excited that you're interested in becoming a member of HOPE for Hidalgo County, Inc. We want to ensure registration is as easy as possible, so here are a few insights to help you with the process.

Registration Windows:

HOPE has two membership enrollment windows.
Our Fall (year long) Membership usually takes place between late May and August.

Registration starts with early registration for current members. Followed by the regular registration window open to new, returning, and legacy members. There is usually a short late registration window in July and/or August, but this comes with a significantly higher membership cost, so please keep that in mind.

We also have a Spring semester-only registration window that usually takes place in late December or January. **Please note, this is not a full year membership, you will be required to renew registration in the fall during our full year registration window.**

----If you are reaching out to us outside of these designated enrollment windows, please understand that your application will be declined. You will be invited to come back and apply again during open enrollment.----

Religious Consideration:

We are a religious based organization, so we do require voting members to agree with and accept our Constitution and ByLaws, including a Statement of Faith.

Registration Form:

By filling out the registration form you are submitting an application for membership pending approval by the HOPE Executive Committee. Please allow 7 business days to process your application.

****Please note for registration and membership purposes, the "Primary Parent" should be the parent that will be most involved in HOPE activities and committees.**** The "Secondary parent" should be the spouse. If possible, please complete spaces for each spouse. If you are a single parent household, please put N/A in spouse sections.

After your application is approved, HOPE will send you an approval email including an invoice for the membership fee. Once your registration payment is complete you will have full access to the resources and community of HOPE!

1. How did you first learn of H.O.P.E., for Hidalgo County, Inc? 2. H.O.P.E. Membership categories are based on Family Agreement with the Statement of Faith. Please read our Statement of Faith in its entirety, and make your agreement choice below.

HOPE Statement of Faith:

The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and constitutes His completed and final revelation to man.
The Bible, in its original autograph, is without error in whole or in part, including theological concepts as well as geographical and historical details. (II Timothy 3:16, Psalm 89:34, II Peter 1:20-21, Revelation 22:18-19).
God has existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God come in the human flesh, virgin born, being fully God and fully man, except without sin (Genesis 1:26, John 1:1-3, 14, Matthew 28:19, I John 5:7, Revelation 1:7-8, II Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 1:23).
All men are in violation of God’s righteous requirements and His holy character both by nature and act, and are therefore under His wrath and just condemnation (Romans 5:12).
The central purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man’s sin through His substitutionary death on the cross, the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible, bodily resurrection (Romans 6:23, Romans 5:9, I John 2:2, I Peter 2:24, Hebrews 9:22, I Corinthians 15:3-6).
Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner. This gift must be responded to in individual faith, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, John 1:12).
God wonderfully and immutably created each person as biologically male or female at the time of conception. These two distinct, complimentary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 5:1-2; Psalm 139:13-15; Jeremiah 1:5)
God established systems of responsibility to maintain order in His Creation. Mankind benefits when individuals respect and uphold the institution of marriage between one man and one woman, and the authority of parents in the family. (Genesis 2:23-24, Deuteronomy 5:16, Ephesians 6:1)

Membership categories based on agreement selection below:

Voting Member – Both parents agree with the H.O.P.E.Statement of Faith. This membership has voting and leadership privileges. One vote per family membership.
Associate Member –One or both parents may not agree with all points of the Statement of Faith, but agree to not contradict the tenets of the Statement of Faith whenever participating in H.O.P.E. activities. This membership does not have voting privileges and neither the parents nor their children may hold positions of leadership in H.O.P.E.

H.O.P.E. is a Christian home school support group that seeks by the grace of God to conduct activities according to the principles found in God’s Word. The H.O.P.E. policy is to maintain Christian conduct and good sportsmanship with love, modesty, clean speech, and moral behavior. All H.O.P.E. members are encouraged to read the H.O.P.E. Constitution available on our website.

Participants will submit to the leadership of all activities and shall cooperate in activities to accomplish them successfully and for the blessing of colleagues. Participants should speak directly to anyone with whom they have a difficulty as directed in Matthew 18:15.
Leadership of H.O.P.E. activities shall inform participants of rules or requirements for that activity.
Unless parental supervision is not required, parents are responsible for their own children during activities or partaking of H.O.P.E. services.
As we represent Christ in our community, our dress should be neat, modest, and appropriate for the activity. (Leaders of H.O.P.E. activities may set guidelines for specific activities). H.O.P.E. students shall refrain from inappropriate displays of affection/contact at H.O.P.E. sponsored events.
If we see another parent’s child in need of correction, we should discreetly notify the parent. If the parent is not present, we should gently remove the child from the situation.
An adult sponsor (preferably a couple) shall be present at all H.O.P.E. sponsored activities. If inappropriate behavior occurs during a H.O.P.E. sponsored activity, the child or a family may be asked not to participate in future activities as stated in the Standing Rules of each activity, or as in the Constitution, Article 6, Section F.
All H.O.P.E. members will use facilities (dressing rooms, restrooms) and participate on sports teams according to the gender listed on their birth certificate.

4. Electronic Signature Acknowledgement

Home Oriented Private Education for Hidalgo County, Inc. utilizes electronic documentation that requires applicants to provide an electronic signature upon document completion, but prior to submittal. This acknowledgement is to make applicants aware that by submitting an electronic signature, they are providing an electronic mark, that is held to the same standard as a legally binding equivalent of a handwritten signature provided by a signee. For purposes of the acknowledgement, a digital mark is considered a typed legal First and Last name (legal name may include middle name, initial or suffix) followed by the typed date. Any document requiring an electronic signature shall contain a signature acknowledgement statement provided in the same area requiring the electronic signature.

Invoices are due upon receipt.

Please pay close attention to the payment deadline for your specific registration window. The date and deadline to pay will be included in your invoice.

If you miss the payment deadline for your unique membership rate, at the close of that payment window, your rate will automatically go up to the next membership price point.

You are able to complete payment online using a credit card or debit card. The system does access a 3% processing fee. But once payment is completed you'll get access to HOPE resources immediately.
